Travel company plunging into liquidation with over £120k debts | UK | News


A UK travel firm is set to plunge into liquidation with an outstanding £120k in debt according to public accounts.

Jab Travel Ltd based in Cannock is due to hold a meeting of creditors on August 11.

The meeting is to take place for the purposes of considering the appointment of a liquidator and ongoing proceedings.

According to latest accounts up to January 2025, the firm have amounts falling due within one year of £120,226.

However as stated on The Gazette, all proofs of debt must be delivered by 4pm on the business day before the decision date.

Jab Travel Ltd is registed as providing travel agency activities.

The company was incorporated on February 7, 2017 and has traded for just under a decade.

Further information about the liquidation process will be made available after the meeting.

It comes as several travel companies have had to shut due to economic struggles.

TS Travels Group Ltd, who offered ‘reliable and safe coach services for tours in West Yorkshire’, were appointed liquidators on July 29, 2026.

The company’s full accounts dated up to July 31, 2025 show that they had over £250,000 worth of debts.
