Arsenal want a minimum of three signings this summer – a left-sided forward, a midfielder and a right-back.

That’s according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who is known for his strong Arsenal sources.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Ornstein said: “They know the need to improve at that top end. The No.9 position is interesting.

“The left-sided attack is a big priority for them. They’ve been looking at it for a few years. This may be the summer where they really do go for something. They’ve got the options.

“They want a No.6/8 midfielder, they want to strengthen at right-back as well.

“You could see that outlay from last summer repeated or even exceeded.”
