Marathon update 1.1.5.1 patch notes – Fans can earn double XP for limited time | Gaming | Entertainment
Marathon developer Bungie has released a new update on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Marathon update 1.1.5.1 is out now and is required to download and install before you can think about playing online. The new update was released after a period of server downtime, which took the game offline between 4pm BST and 6pm BST in the UK.
As you can see from the patch notes below, update 1.1.5.1 makes all kinds of changes to the game, including adding a solo only queue for Vault Breaker. The solo offering is reflected in the difficulty, which is reduced to account for the new crew size. Furthermore, players will do increased critical damage against UESC combatants, while UESC enemies will have reduced accuracy.
The latest Marathon update also makes changes to the Item Economy, specifically fixing an issue where VIP reward packages were unable to be claimed. Finally, the update lays the foundations for the double XP weekend, which runs from July 31 until August 3.
