Lloyds Bank down: Thousands report issues as customers ‘can’t access app’ | Personal Finance | Finance
Lloyds Bank and Halifax customers experienced issues accessing their accounts today. Thousands of reports were filed via Down Detector, a site recording issues with online platforms, on Wednesday.
Among the issues experienced by customers of these banks were troubles accessing the apps, with one Lloyd customer writing on Downdetector: “Completely down! App won’t work!” Others said they were unable to make payments. Another customer taking to X told Lloyds: “App is down, fix it.” The bank’s social media account replied saying: “Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing app login issues. We are aware of this, so we are working on this.” At approximately 3pm, Lloyds announced all services were back up and running.
