The President of the United States has lost control of the war in Iran, following a significant recent development, it has been claimed. Donald Trump publicly declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “doesn’t call the shots”, sparking widespread speculation, with concerns now mounting over what may transpire in the Middle East as tensions appear to have heightened once more.
This comes in the wake of Iran’s ballistic missile assault on US ally Israel, with claims surfacing that the President has been “embarrassed on the world stage”. Trump, speaking to the Financial Times, made clear that Netanyahu’s sole option would be to accept whatever agreement the US brokers with Iran, stating: “He won’t have any choice. I call the shots. I call all the shots. He [Netanyahu] doesn’t call the shots.” It comes after people became convinced Trump was wearing a diaper under his clothes after spotting an alarming sign.
Social media commentator Hal, known online as Hal for NY online, has since suggested the episode has left the President “humiliated”, setting out his views in a recent video.
He said: “Donald Trump just got humiliated on the world stage as Netanyahu defied his demand that he not respond to Iran. Now, if you missed it, Iran attacked Israel with ballistic missiles, and Donald Trump immediately came out and told the world ‘Netanyahu doesn’t call the shots, I call the shots, and I’m telling him not to respond’.
“Well Netanyahu told Trump to ‘pound sand’, and has responded, and we are back to full fledged war. Donald Trump has absolutely no control.
“He has told the American people, and the world, that Iran is begging to make a deal, and yet Iran continues to attack countries in the Middle East.”
“Then he tells the world ‘I call the shots, not Netanyahu. He’ll do what I say’. Netanyahu shows him otherwise. This is an embarrassing moment for Donald Trump.
“But, more importantly, the U.S. is losing its standing in the world, as we are no longer being listened to. We are being completely ignored in a moment where we should be in charge.”
Hal’s video has garnered thousands of views since being uploaded, attracting dozens of comments. Viewers expressed strong opinions.

One remarked: “Losing? It was lost many months ago.” Another declared: “Trump himself is the embarrassing moment.”
A third replied: “America is gone.” Meanwhile, a fourth also noted: “The U.S. is now irrelevant on the world stage.”
The missile attack marks the most serious breach of the ceasefire arrangement. In February, the U.S. and Israel carried out joint strikes against several key Iranian installations.
Iran responded by launching assaults on locations across the region and blocking the Strait of Hormuz waterway. A ceasefire was established in April, but the nations have failed to achieve a lasting peace settlement. Despite this, Trump has made clear that Iran’s behaviour has done nothing to dampen his resolve to conclude talks. “It’s not going to have any impact on the deal,” he told the FT.
“We’ll see how it ends up. But they [the missile strikes on Israel] were attacks that did not kick at all.”
This follows Trump making a ‘creepy’ remark about touching a famous man’s leg.
