There’s a new offer from Argos that’s cutting the cost of Sky-rivalling TVs. The online retailer has just launched an eye-catching sale that reduces the price of Freely-powered Hisense screens by up to 25 percent. That’s on top of some of these TVs already being dropped to their ‘lowest ever’ price. For those not aware, Freely lets homes watch live and on-demand content via a broadband connection rather than an aerial.

This internet-connected platform is very similar to Sky Glass, which also uses the web to whizz content into living rooms. Although Sky offers more channels and access to premium sports and movies, it requires homes to pay a monthly fee. As the name suggests, Freely is totally free to watch once the telly has been purchased with over 50 channels available via this platform.
