The hobby William is ‘really bad’ at that’s loved by Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis | Royal | News
Prince William and Princess Kate are believed to be very hands-on parents, spending most of their spare time with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
While the family are very sporty and are said to enjoy bike rides and games in the garden, they also gave away a clue this week about a hobby they enjoy doing together.
On a recent Instagram post, the Prince and Princess of Wales released four portrait drawings done by Kate, 43, George, 11, Charlotte, nine, and Louis, six.
Royal fans were quick to praise the drawings, which were posted online to promote Kateâs Early Years Shaping US project, however were quick to notice that William did not seem to have a go at taking part in the artistic activity himself.
While no drawing done by William was released, it is believed the future King may not be as fond of the hobby as the rest of his family members for one key reason.
This is because William, 42, had previously admitted he was not very talented at drawing, unlike his wife.
In a 2020 video call with a group of schoolchildren from Pakistan who William and Kate had met a year prior, the royals enjoyed an online game of Pictionary.
When asked whether he was good at drawing, Prince William admitted he was âreally badâ but that his wife was âvery goodâ.
Princess Kate then reassured her husband by saying, âYou donât practice enough!”
While Kate is known to be good at art, it appears her eldest son George is following in her footsteps when it comes to his own drawing skills.
After the portraits drawn by the royal children and Kate were released earlier this week, fans couldnât help but notice how much talent George has.
One fan wrote on X: âItâs clear that Prince George has inherited his motherâs artistic talent wonderfully!â
Another said: âPrince Georgeâs drawing definitely hints at him having inherited artistic skill.â
