Struggling pubs and theatres ‘rescued’ by £25m public fund | UK | News
Struggling cinemas, theatres, pubs and parks will be rescued by a £25million fund, the Government has said.
Successful bidders will be given a share of the Community Ownership Fund – a pot to support spaces important to communities.
More than 70 treasured buildings will be rescued from closure.
Just over £2million will help Wolverhampton Grand Theatre expand.
Another £2million will help secure the future of the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh.
And more than £1million will restore the Jacobs Wells Baths building in Bristol.
