Argos shoppers dash to grab ultimate iPhone upgrade at ‘lowest ever’ price

Black Friday 2025 is now just a few days away, and it’s a great time to shop for a tech bargain. There are loads of money-saving offers across a swathe of devices, and you can even grab some rare discounts on Apple gear. The iPad, AirPods and MacBook have all been reduced, and now there’s a deal on the iPhone with Argos confirming that it’s now selling the ultimate 512GB model at its ‘lowest ever price’. Now, before you get too excited, the smartphone on offer is an older iPhone 15, which first launched back in 2023.

However, if you don’t mind not having the very latest iPhone 17 in your pocket, then this is a very good deal, as it means you get that massive internal memory for storing files and photos without paying the usual high premium.

At launch, the iPhone 15 with 512GB of storage cost £1,099, but Argos is now selling it for just £749 – that’s over £300 off. It’s worth noting that this low price is only available on the Green version. Other colours – such as Blue and Pink – cost £899.

As a guide to how good that is. We’ve found the same device on Apple’s refurbished website for £769. Although Apple offers a full guarantee, this is not a new device and has been used before.

So what do you get for your money?

The iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, with the new Dynamic Island instead of a notch that adapts to the apps you are using.

It runs on the efficient A16 Bionic chip, is covered in toughened Ceramic Shield glass, and includes a dual-lens camera on the rear case.

It was also the first iPhone to swap Lightning for a universal USB-C port for charging.

Other extras include Crash Detection, which calls for help after an accident, and it can be fast refilled when the battery gets low.

One thing it doesn’t include is access to Apple Intelligence. That’s a smart feature which is reserved for newer models, such as the iPhone 16 and the latest iPhone 17.
