The M3 is blocked near Southampton after a collision as drivers face 40 minute delays.

National Highways says: “The #M3 in #Hampshire is blocked westbound between J12 #Eastleigh & J13 #Southampton due to a collision. Emergency services are working on scene. Current delays of 40 minutes with 4 miles of congestion on approach.”

The RAC’s website says: “Road blocked and queueing traffic due to accident, a car and a motorycle involved. Congestion to J10 (Winchester).

“M3 Southbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, a car and a motorycle involved from J12 A335 (Eastleigh) to J13 A335 Leigh Road (Chandlers Ford). Congestion to J10 (Winchester). Also affecting roads through Twyford and Eastleigh Train Station as traffic looks to divert around the closure.”
