Fire TV Stick fans have hours left to claim new upgrade at ‘lowest ever’ price

Amazon’s big Prime Day sale event has been running all week, offering shoppers huge discounts across a swathe of products, including Apple devices, Sky-style TV boxes and Echo speakers. Prime Day will end tonight, June 26, but there’s still time to cash in, and that’s good news for anyone in need of a new Fire TV Stick. Amazon is currently offering its very latest streaming gadget at its lowest-ever price.

The 2026 Fire TV Stick HD only launched in the spring, but its price has already plummeted, with it currently available for just £16.99 – that’s a whopping 58 per cent off the usual price. So what do you get for that low cost?

The new Fire TV Stick HD offers high-definition visuals (it’s not 4K ready) and a slimmer design. That means it takes up less space when plugged into the back of screens.

It’s compatible with Wi-Fi 6 broadband technology which means there’s less chance of streams buffering and there’s a neat voice remote which includes quick buttons and the ability to chat to Alexa.

Like all Fire TV Sticks, it comes loaded with premium apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Prime Video, plus there’s plenty of free content via BBC iPlayer, ITVX and YouTube.

The only thing to note is that to get this deal, you will need to be a Prime member. Luckily, Amazon is offering Prime free for one month, so you can join today, grab the bargain, and then cancel your subscription.

If the Fire TV Stick HD sounds a bit basic, there are more deals on other streaming devices as well.

ALL THE FIRE TV STICK DEALS

These are decent deals from Amazon. A quick check at other stores such as Argos and Currys shows Fire TV Sticks are currently at full price. That means the Fire TV Stick HD costs £39.99 rather than just £16.99.
