Argos hands out free Samsung Galaxy tablets, no wonder it’s proving popular

It’s not often you get something for nothing, but that’s exactly what Argos is offering right now. The high street store has just announced a new Samsung promotion, which is giving customers the chance to grab a Galaxy tablet without paying a penny for the privilege.

The model that’s being given away is the Tab A11, which features an 8-inch display, a premium design, dual speakers that are powered by Dolby technology and impressive battery life. There’s also a single rear camera, plenty of power for everyday tasks and 128GB of storage that can be boosted to 1TB via an SD Card.

So, how does this deal work, and how do you claim this £169 device?

The Argos deal is part of an incentive from Samsung. It’s available to anyone who purchases a new Galaxy A37 or A57 smartphone, which were launched earlier this year.

These devices start from just £409.99 (thanks to a £50 discount) and once purchased, customers then simply “click to claim” the A11.

Once the form is submitted on Samsung’s website, the Galaxy Tab will be sent out at no extra cost.

This offer from Argos is clearly proving popular with the store confirming that it is currently “in demand” and “selling fast”. Those wanting to take advantage will also need to act fast as the deal ends on June 23.

As we’ve mentioned, to get this deal you’ll need to buy one of the latest Galaxy A-series devices, which come packed with features at a lower price than Samsung’s flagship S-series devices.

The £409.99 A37 5G includes a 6.7-inch screen, triple-lens camera, octa-core processor and fast charging. The slightly more premium Galaxy A57 5G (NOW £479.99) features a 6.7-inch display, smart camera system, large battery and toughened design.

It’s worth noting that other retailers, including Samsung’s own store and Sky, are also offering these devices with the free A11 tablet.

The A-Series is also not Samsung’s best phone, so make sure you’re happy with a mid-range device before tapping the buy button.

As a quick guide, the flagship S26 range starts from £879 and doesn’t include the free tablet.

They do, however, get a more premium feel, improved cameras, faster processors and extras such as the in-built S Pen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
