Amazon gives you big reason to ditch your Ring Doorbell and try something better
Amazon is running an eye-catching sale on the latest Ring Doorbell, with the latest model of the popular home security gadget currently at its lowest ever price – but you don’t have long to take advantage of this offer, as it ends on May 20.
Right now, you can get the newest generation Ring Battery Video Doorbell for £49.99, 38 percent off the RRP of £79.99.
According to price comparison site Camelcamelcamel, this is the least this Ring has ever cost. You can get it in grey, mocha or white colours and enjoy the Doorbell’s 2K video resolution.
Opting for this version of the famous Ring Doorbell means no fiddly wiring as it’s battery powered. You simply mount the unit outside your front door and connect it to your home Wi-Fi system using the Ring app for iPhone and Android.
Then when someone rings the bell, you’ll get a notification straight to your smartphone telling you the bell has been pressed, along with a live audio and video feed so you can see who is calling.
This is very handy particularly when you are out and about – you can let visitors know how far away you are thanks to the two-way audio via the built in mic and speaker, or let the delivery driver know where they can safely put your latest package if you’re not home for a while.
It’s also a fine security camera and theft deterrent. You can set up the Doorbell to be activated by motion, so if someone is snooping around, you’ll be the first to know.
