It might look just like an Apple Watch and have features similar to a Samsung Galaxy Watch, but it’s actually one of the latest wearables from Chinese firm Huawei. Once strapped to wrists, the Fit 4 does everything you’d expect but at a much lower price than its rivals. It can track daily activity levels, show calories burned during exercise sessions, monitor sleep patterns and check heart rate. It even features an in-built barometer that can alert the user to sudden changes in the weather.

Other useful extras include fall detection technology, which can send alerts should owners take a tumble. It’s water resistant, packs a 1.82-inch bright display and even lasts for up to 10 days on a single charge.

The final bonus of the Huawei Fit 4 is that it’s fully compatible with both iPhone and Android devices, meaning it works with any smartphone. That’s not something that users of the Apple Watch get, as these popular devices are very much tied to the iOS ecosystem.

The Huawei Fit 4 is usually priced at a pretty reasonable £149.99, but that cost has been cut to under £100.

Argos is one store that has this £99.99 deal with the online retailer, confirming that it’s ‘popular’ and ‘in demand’. Those heading to Amazon will find an even cheaper deal with the watch on sale for just £99.

We haven’t tested the Huawei Fit 4, but the firm has a good record with wearables.

However, if you aren’t convinced and would rather stick to an Apple or Galaxy Watch, then there are plenty of offers on those devices as well. For example, Argos is selling the original Galaxy Watch Ultra for just £299 which is the stores ‘lowest ever’ price.

This device gets extended battery life, tough design and extra features such as a built-in alarm.

Amazon also has a small price cut on the Watch Ultra 3, which is now £720 rather than the usual £749.
