The first support act of the night will be Cast, who are set to take to the stage to kick things off at 6pm. 

They are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 1992 by John Power on vocals and guitar, and Peter Wilkinson on bass and backing vocals. 

John, 57, has shared his excitement, given that he and his bandmates will be the first people to perform on the tour. Speaking on Virgin Radio UK, he said: “Opening for the Oasis, it’s gonna be amazing. The first chord of this tour is going to be one that I hit.

“I’m just about now getting excited. I mean, the thing is, the way I live my life and look at things is, I kind of take each day as it comes and not try and look too far ahead. But there’s no doubt about it now that, you know, Friday is upon us, and the first chord of this tour is going to be one I hit.

“So it’s a quite, a you know, it’s going to be quite a moment, I think, Cardiff, Principality Stadium.”
