British high street brand Boden has launched their end of season sale and extended the discounts up to 60% off, with an extra 10% off. The reduced items include a linen shirt worn by Princess Kate when she went on a two-day tour of Scotland’s Inner Hebrides in April.

The shirt that got everyone excited is the Boden Longline Linen Safari Shirt, which is currently reduced from £98 to £39, but shoppers can use code SS25X10 to bring the price down to £35.28. The top is available in two colours – Larch Green and Chambray.

Back in April, Boden confirmed to The Express that Princess Kate wore the Longline Linen Safari Shirt. She was seen layering it with a double-breasted brown herringbone blazer and a pair of combat boots. 

The blue shirt is available online between size UK8 and UK22 with the Larch Green option also available in UK6. For a slightly different style, New Look’s Blue Long Sleeve Chambray Shirt has a chest pocket and it currently retails at £27.99 and it is crafted in 38% linen and 62% cotton. 

For a smart casual style to switch between office attire and off-work looks, Reiss’ Linen Button-Through Shirt in Blue, £98, is a great addition to the summer wardrobe. It features a single box pleat at the back to enhance the shape while a concealed front button placket for a clean, streamlined look. 

The Boden linen shirt is designed in a relaxed fit that gives an easy shape that falls on the hip. Shoppers have left high ratings and mentioned the comfort and “beautiful colour”.

One loved the “great quality” and said: “Very pleased with this shirt. The linen is great quality and the blue colour is such a perfect shade. I am usually between an 8 and 10 but went for the 8 which is just right. The sleeves look great rolled up and sit just below the elbow. I know I’ll get lots of wear out of this shirt.”

Another shared: “Described as long line but isn’t that long – nice shirt though I have kept it.” However, some disagreed and found the sleeves length “too long”. 

“I wear a 14 and usually order XL for a relaxed fit. The shoulder seams on this shirt hung four inches off each arm. Also the shirt is much shorter than the images. It’s wide and short with huge shoulders. Back it goes,” a shopper detailed and a second described it as “comically massive”.

Kate had her Boden shirt tucked in and paired it with a blazer and shoppers can take inspiration and style it in similar way when the weather cools off.
