Prince George’s secret tennis lesson with Wimbledon legend | Royal | News
Wimbledon champion Federer shared a few details about the lesson, which took place when George was younger. The tennis star said: āAt that stage it’s all about just touching the ball, it’s already good. Same with my boys.ā
As reported by OK, Federer also said he knows he has an āadvantageā when it comes to being one of Georgeās favourite players.
He said: “I think I have a little advantage that I actually spent some time, you know, with him.
“I’m the only player he’s ever met. Then you have a little head start in who is your favourite player.”
Prince George has attended a handful of Wimbledon matches before with his mum Kate, 43, and dad William, 43, with his younger sister Princess Charlotte, 10, also sometimes in attendance.
William and Kateās youngest son Prince Louis, who turned seven this year, is yet to make his Wimbledon debut.
It is believed Kate has been a big fan of tennis for years, having played the sport in her own time with her passion reportedly rubbing off on all three of her children.
